Screening, and Intervention,"
is a conference taking place on
May 13, 2009, in New Orleans.
It is being held in conjunction
with the annual meeting of the
Society for Academic Emergency
Medicine.
The conference will cover
Alcohol Screening, Brief
Intervention, and Referral to
Treatment (SBIRT). A key goal is
the identification of strategies
to demonstrate the importance
of ED-based health behavior
intervention to educators, policy
makers, and funders.
