Zoox

Zoox is transforming how we’ll move in cities. Since 2014, their mission has been to make personal transportation safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable—for everyone. They’re designing and building their purpose-built robotaxis, developing the autonomous technology that drives them, and soon, operating a robotaxi ride-hailing service that will yield substantial safety, environmental and societal benefits. Zoox’s purpose-built electric vehicles are designed for shared mobility and lower the need for single-occupancy, gas-powered vehicles that limit efficient public road use.

Safety is foundational to their mission at Zoox; this is more than just a saying but a commitment they enact. For example, because they have purpose-built their vehicle for passengers from the ground up, they've designed over 100 new safety innovations into the robotaxi that don't exist in conventional vehicles today, offering five-star equivalent protection for all four riders and developed technologies to prevent and protect riders and other road users, including vulnerable road users.
