GHSA's Annual Report, Highlights of Association Activity, showcases the Association's accomplishments from the 2018 Fiscal Year (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018).
The report provides updates on GHSA's activities and achievements, focusing on three key areas:
Advancing Traffic Safety Issues
GHSA confronts the most pressing traffic safety issues with leadership, partnerships, and advocacy by offering programs and publications, sharing best practices, and providing funding opportunities for states.
Collaborating with Congress and Federal Agencies
As NHTSA's grant programs experienced significant changes this year, GHSA worked closely with the Administration to facilitate the transition and maintain a strong relationship with leaders. This past year also saw a reorganization of GHSA and NHTSA's research program.
Expanding and Delivering Member Services
GHSA grew and fortified its member services by expanding its Consulting Services Initiative, improving the user experience on the member web portal, and producing a wealth of publications and webinars to keep members apprised of the latest highway safety developments.
