2022 Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths Conference

The annual TZD conference provides a forum for sharing information on best practices in engineering, enforcement, education, and emergency medical/health services and for identifying new approaches to reducing the number of traffic fatalities and life-changing injuries on Minnesota roads.

This year's conference highlights include:

• An opening general session featuring Lakeville Police Officer Samantha Strandberg, who will share her story of recovery after an impaired driver crashed into her patrol car.
• A day two general session focused on how to take wellness to the next level and strengthen trust by creating a culture of wellness in your office—and in yourself.
• The presentation of our annual TZD awards.
• Forty concurrent sessions on topics including automated vehicles, equity in traffic safety, crash data, speeding, child passenger safety, impaired driving, Complete Streets, and more.
