This webinar, hosted by Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) will explore how connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) and other technologies are changing the way we advance transportation safety, equity and the five E's. You'll hear about some of the work the state, cities and counties are doing to plan and prepare for these technologies, including the new CAV Innovation Alliance and some CAV pilot projects. In addition, presenters will discuss some of the uncertainty regarding whether these technologies will ultimately advance TZD's goals.
GHSA Treasurer and Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety Director Michael Hanson will participate as a speaker during the webinar.
The webinar is free to attend, but registration is required. Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirmation with a Zoom link. The link should not be shared with others; it is unique to you. Click here to register for the webinar.
