Summary
The Senior Project Manager provides leadership and support in the areas of long-range planning, transportation policy, capital planning, asset management and related areas. Prepares proposals and reports, and researches transportation projects. Collaborates with other technical leaders and project managers across business units to develop integrated technical approaches and serve as a company-wide resource in their areas of expertise. Trains, manages and mentors junior staff and motivates staff and sub-consultants to deliver high-quality work products on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager develops collaborative relationships with current and prospective clients, proactively identifies future opportunities, and leads teaming negotiations with other consulting firms as part of proactive and reactive marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 12+ years of industry-related experience
- 5+ years of experience managing projects and leading proposals
- Strong and effective communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
