A horrific crash that killed six high school girls in Oklahoma two years ago has the head of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) urging parents to warn teenagers about the risk of driving after using marijuana.

Through the support of Ford Driving Skills for Life, GHSA awarded the Oklahoma highway safety office a grant to conduct teen driver safety education program across the state. The program featured an app content, work zone safety elements and several hands-on events.

GHSA and Ford Motor Company Fund are celebrating a 20-year partnership dedicated to youth traffic safety by awarding grants to four states to advance access to safe mobility for teens in underserved and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.
