Pacific Institute for Research & Evaluation

Founded in 1974, the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE) is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on merging scientific knowledge and research-based practices to create solutions that improve the health, safety, and well-being of individuals, communities, and nations around the world. For almost 50 years, PIRE scientists, evaluators, and staff have conducted basic and applied health research supported by grant- and contract-funded projects, creating a longstanding reputation for research integrity and the application of science for the public good.
